Oh I knew You weren’t All that Intellectual In your God is dog Spelled backward Kind of way You approached the world Its various mysteries With less than thoughtfulness On your side Though perhaps not noble In your mindless savagery Brought up to believe However small the possibility I hoped in love there just might be A little more than glitter there A glint to spark the light Among your moon and stars Beyond the power of pyramids To sharpen a razor’s edge . |

Alas and drat. Love's glitter found lying beside the road less traveled than some. The razor's edge has been dulled throughout the centuries of non-use. Okay. Got me motivated. Enjoyed your poem. ~ Plastic surgeons are always making mountains out of molehills. ~ |
