if we turn this thing we have
into a sordid love affair
then we may never
know what we
have missed
by never
having
kissed or
soiled sheets
in rooms we would
just as soon forget when
love walks out on all fours

Hah! If I'm reading this right, and I have a problem reading things right sometimes, but seems to me like you are saying, One night stand, hot sweaty bodies, get up in the morning walk away and don't dwell on it. Especially not think of it as an affair. Okay. I've stuck my nose out the premise of this.

P.S.: Love the line, "love walks out on all fours"

it's actually about a wonderful friendship i had with a man...the sexual chemistry was strong but we never ended up turning it into an affair though everyone thought we were having one...thanks for your most welcome comments...
