This is who I am, I am clown, I guess I'll give you my clown noun. I clown around both day and night My name is Frown-Clown, it's all right
I paint frowns on my face each night, Under the Big Top and the lights. I want to paint a happy mug, So I wouldn't look like a slug.
I was a happy clown back then, My name then was Comical Ken. But life's not always fair, you see, I feel like I'm lashed to a tree.
My hands can't paint a happy face, They try, but then they do erase. My heart is heavy, it is sad, That's why on my face, frowns I add.
Someday I hope time will stand still, My heart will lift up in a thrill. When that day happens I will grin, Inside and out like a mad twin.
That won't happen until the day, The Bearded Lady comes to stay. She ran away with Balloon Man, I love my Bearded Lady, Ann.
