It's an English garden of roses and blossoms in an aloe, rock and drought land. It's the rain that falls softly in a world of thunder, storms. It's unheard of, it's far away. Walk through the garden, smell the moist earth the delicacy, promise of life. As the drought enfolds, dream of the rain. As the rain withholds, dream of the rain. And rain in a storm, a torrent of thunder and storm and light a dream, jerked to reality. Damage done, but we've won. Reality is rain, storm, rain. And rain will nurture and a garden will grow in the desert. Not an English garden of roses and hollyhocks and blossoms of delicacy but a garden of wildflowers and strength that perhaps will not yield. |

quote: All gardens are precious, but when the rain transforms an arid ground into a garden, then it's a very special gift and blessing. Beautiful! Love, Margherita |
