You make a good point Jerry and I love the blast to the past and memories of my older brothers in those free love days. It's funny that back then I wasn't a hippy but now every one thinks I was one (guess I'm just cool like that) Lori |

I was too young to enjoy all the hippie days, but seen woodstock, and sure have seen and heard enough about those days. Seems like the best of times. Liked this Jerry a good write. Dreamgal *smiles* |

Haha! Yeah, Lori, maybe that's it, you're a cool momma. Thanks for the input. Well, actually, dreamgal, although it did seem like the best of times, but there was plenty wrong with those days, I'll drop another poem about the sixties soon perhaps. Thank you for being here. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

Beliefs come and go, it looks like we are in permanent search for the ideal way of life (where responsibilities are hopefully small ...), but then - just like you state so very well here - it all proves to be temporary bliss. The picture you painted of those Sixties is neat and thought provoking, dear Jerry! Love, Margherita |
