i shall endure all suffering for i prefer it to forgetting you and though chance may take me elsewhere i will always be close to you you'll never be alone again for i am here; i am your friend and if we go our separate ways i'll cherish our memories until the end There must be a poem in here somewhere. |

Sometime obedience to fault can become your enemy. I truly hope it doesn't become yours, Faith. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |

It is an intensely beautiful declaration of love and friendship, but you deserve better than to remain stuck in a painful bond. We can love forever, that's wonderful, but we should contemporaneously detach from that part that gives us pain. Love and joy. Margherita |

Well written my friend - although forgetting is never an option anyway. Remembering is a part of the psyche, a building block of who we are and who we are going to be, and in later years, a very important part of who we were as those building blocks decrease. The pain, thankfully, just as in the physical body, though not as quickly, does, overtime, become hardly felt at all, but never, ever totally disappears. j. |

Good one! I too had red flags go off when I read about enduring all suffering...live is too short to commit to that kind of pain... Besides you're just too darn precious. Lori |
