I didn't fight the pillows or wrestle with the sheets but, oh, that getting up my lifelong enemy. In bed I dream, I feel you near, I speak of my desires, and believe I am a queen reigning o'er my fantasies. But unruly, so unruly, is my fantasy of you that willingly I lay down my title to the crown. I'm just a "me", no regal queen to sign my name to rules of how and when my fantasies pay their respect to me. But queen or no they bend low and creep silently within to light the candles one by one in the window of my love. A feast is laid on my table of need and music plays the sweet refrains of a heart in tune with you in my room with a view. Then my lifelong enemy wins the duel and I get up to face the day a "me" who like a queen cannot control unruly fantasies! Helen / 2 April 2011 |

Hah! Gotta love it, a "queen" or a "me," it is all good except when the plumbing back up. ~ If you don't want gays in the military, make the uniforms ugly. ~ |
