They would picnic in the spring just as flowers came to bloom, and warm breezes filled the air. Her head resting gently on his lap, he would recite poetic verses to her. She would gaze at the bluest sky, as a smile of content, covered her face. Those were the days of splendor... Carefree days spent lying in the grass, on a warm spring day. With nothing but time and each other. Such hopeful dreams were made in those moments. Those were the days of splendor.... |
