               spring moment

6 a.m.
The crisp Spring morning arises
to an ice-fingered grip of Winter passing
when even time seems frozen in a moment
with all of life’s hidden consciousness.
one is moved to every dim imagining
of a million infinitesimally tiny
awakening things
impatient to re-assume the world.
