This was a safe place, but now its misplaced. This was a dream, I thought I could hope in. This was a hope, I thought I could believe in. Somewhere along the line, I patched up a broken heart. These tears pitterpatted down my cheeks, all these restless weeks. Where can I lay my head to pray, It's the end of another day. I'm lost on my way. I bow my head to pray. I wish I didn't feel this way. |

I am sorry you are so sad, but "this too shall pass" - take it from a hale and hearty 65-year old woman who has weathered heartbreak more times than she can count! And, if you are praying, you ain't broken - it just seems so, for the time being. Smiles. Owl |

Kellie, my gosh where have you been?! I saw your name and had to do a double take... so glad to see your words again, however sad they many be, which is okay, sadness is the night, of our lives. Well you know that you can always come here to lay your head down and just be comforted by all your friends. Really enjoyed the poem. I hope you stick around, we would really like that. Richard |
