There is no warmth beside her in the night She must face them on her own longing for him and home No comfort of closeness held tight she does not complain from where she lies but you can see the saddness in her eyes I weep for her and the missing him tonight that she must endure until she is healed and well And when they can finally reunite and get back in that bed of their own Their bed won’t be back at their home But I believe she’ll get through it alright so long as she can spoon with him at night in their bed together again LGR©3/4/11 |
