How Your Lies Hurt How your lies hurt Powerless to block them They beat on me Tear at my soul You expect me to move on? Day after day I suffer While you only grow strong Am I your slave? ……. I refuse to be beaten! This hatred does not stop me Your anger reflects Your own fears within! Today I stand Facing down my demons Today I stand I am my own man! |

Lies are the ultimate betrayal, and snowball. Like the worst can of worms that you can't put a lid on. Being honest with ourselves is rewarding in itself, we reap what we sow. Best to you~ |
