In dark dreams therein lay truth’s biggest lie Where blessed joy with fervent bliss give way To thoughts of despair, entrapped by closed eyes Both equal and pure as night is to day Veiled horror at what was held, now lost Upon waking in morning’s bright new dawn To return to the dream at any cost Before all hope of a love shared is gone Then to learn that love was there all the while Its presence thy mind hath barely contained Exposed for what it is behind a smile And within, the source shall ever remain What, in depths of dark sleep from love lost brings? Such is love known by all these tell-tale things |

Upon waking in morning’s bright new dawn To return to the dream at any cost ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Too true, and so very well told. A dream literally takes on a life of it's own. Always so nice to read you, guy~ |
