No sleep for this restless spirit the rhyme schemes escape me no soft smooth words this night the distracted mind looks for answers pulled in so many directions so many stings being pulled social awkwardness seems the only adequate skill of late just searching for my place in this world a real home, a real career, and a close nit heart recently abandoned hope in this country for me then, friends, out of the blue and yet none seem close but with months or years one might be proved wrong time constraints stress money belt tightens but with new hope on the horizon this month, these weeks hold so many answers Should be at church, perhaps for nothing but the peace I used to know I used to give So many things to be done So many things to be said and shared So much to be learned and then there's that which I don't speak of things i dare not dream reaching out summoning within strength peace passion and faith |
