Heart ---------------- ----------------- Those two blank lines were my heart beats, graphically. =© 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar Hurt I want to be the stream of Hooghli this day; shedding the inhibitions against crying. At that moment two girls giggle in consort while sitting in a tram car which passes me; the laughter rises through the tram car’s windows and gets drenched by a city which grows into a rain forest during this season of rain. A pigeon is bathing its curious neck. With a snap, the umbrella closes. Rain drops down thousands of miles upon concretes. The smell of rain makes one tired. Tiredness pours. =© 2009 - All Rights Reserved Kushal Poddar clever talks delay friendship! |

Let me stroke your heart into a joyful rhythm again, dear Ku! - * - * - * Too much rain must be tiring yes, I believe you. Hooghli is your river there in Kolkata, I learned now on google. You wrote a powerful poem, my young Poet. Personally I feel energized when it rains. Miles of concrete ... perfect for an endless dance in the rain. Can you imagine this? The rain would suddenly be a joyful companion. And if I was tired, dear Roniece would go on dancing with you I am sure. Sending you a big hug and lots of sunshine. Margherita |

When I was a little girl, I would 'chant' "Rain, rain, go away! Come again some other day!" because the rain would interfere with my outdoor play. I have now come to enjoy rainy days but if I'm already in a sad mood, a dismal day adds to my tears. I got totally immersed in your poem ~ as always, Dear Poet. Giving you a warm, understanding hug and a few solar rays to brighten your day ~ even just a bit... Linda |

Yo Poddarku, I remember the monsoon season in Mumbai when all the buildings turn green. You would miss the monsoons if they didn’t arrive. Bobby |
