The heaviness
Of the head
Now grows light

In sleep
At rest
On a soft
White pillow

And
The heaviness
Of the arm
Grows light
On another

To our ships
In its harbor
The silence
Of night
Is calling home

And
The heaviness
Of the heart
Passes away
Into quiet
Eternity

Under the gaze
Of a stolid moon
