Bones and the boys
speak a lot in code.

A lot of people
can’t understand
just what they are saying.

Of course that’s the idea
behind their special dialect.

No one else but the “in” group
is supposed to know
what they are saying.

It’s all a big secret,
and for good reason.

Bobby

i already put this question in another reply to your wonderful poetry...have you ever tried to publish?  your collection would be powerful to read all at once

psssst --- brneyed, look him up at Amazon.com.  He has several books in there and a work of fiction. (grins at Bobby - see I am your PR person!)

I like this, Bobby.  It's a good thing we can't always understand everyone.

I love how this speaks deeply to the essence of Bones...another insight into a very private character (private in soul, i.e.)...thanks for sharing

Thanks Yann,

The "code" used by Bones is something like ebonics.

Thanks Bill,

I'm afraid I don't know that code.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

I liked the poem as usual.  Do you have two books published?  `City Boy Stays Alive` and `Felix`?  Are there more?  I am interested.
