to count my way
to your sweet, mother-earth voice
to surf amongst
the delicate waves of your hair...

I forgot to ask for your name.

You told me so effortlessly,
"It's Ellen."
As if you thought it wasn't
the most wonderful thing
that I'd ever heard.

Yep, you are on a roll with the poems. I am loving this one. It's like peeking into a guy's mind - well, doh, huh. Sheese, that was profound!!!

Anyway, burp all over my comment if you wish - but I still like the poem.

Such a romantic you are! But it's great reading such a "baring of the soul," especially coming from a guy. (Is that sexist?) I read several of your works, and liked 'em all!
