Ah, what came first, Love given, or love received? Did you need to touch something real Before you actually believed? Matters not, these trivial things Only that you do now feel The joy of a thousand lifetimes That you cannot conceal Give in to the gentle flow That brings you near to me Suffer not thoughts of loss But of what will come to be Tend to this youthful garden Ripening in Spring eternal Revel in all of thy dreams Bespeaking of breath nocturnal Feel the savage wind And the hope in the rain Come, fall into loving arms Never think of hurt again Travel along the easy path That brings you near to me Hallow every word I speak By being so dear to me |
