wading through crowds,
tangible opportunities
that could occupy me

yet, no one’s eyes
match your oceans
rippled sun~kissed
waves painted here

and, no one’s words
drench like all your
whispered waterfalls
time standing still

too, no one’s attention
or pure water hands
could drown the want
raindrops mingling

i will force you to do
this thing called feel
pooling lovely head
with lonely heart

and sharing your sad
like endless rain,
sprinkling your temples
with soft dew kisses

come on inside, baby…
out of the downpour
be sweetly cleansed
by soulful showers
