Sunwashed umbrellas and miniature roses compliment each others simple beauty. Last years seedlings, in full bloom contradict the green garden moss that clings silently to the cool summer blues. Magnolia trees line the quiet walkway. Lavender and lemon grass blend in harmony, and dew drops are warm to the touch underneath a canopy of stars. Pale cream color clouds dampen the air honeysuckle sweetness misting the morning breezeway. A cat naps on the porch swing breathing deeply as the dawn tip toes across the lawn, climbing through my window. |
