Poetry in motion... that's what I used to be when doing morning yoga or running sveltely by the sea. But now my routine stretch gets me twisted like some vetch, looking more like fodder for a compost heap than some fetching Goddess daughter. I remember when the full lotus was not so far from reach... only a short sliding movement away. It's barely part of my morning fantasy today. Oh well, even once pristine ripples become fouled downstream when they puddle and dimple into stagnant cesspool ponds. Now stretch and breathe one, two, three, lift those arms, move those thighs, point your toes straight to the skies! Who am I kidding? It’s just another day of recovery from the Body ‘Un’-Electric’s early morning Yoga Pretzel-cises. |

Very true to the time of life I feel, but I 've been thinking to try that doorway chin-up, pull-up bar thing, of course only thinking about it while sitting in this easy chair, ha! Yoga, hummmm, you sit for that right? enjoyed the smile Midnitesun, Bloodline |

Ah! Those sweet days of old...when our body parts were firmer, stood higher, and were so much more limber and supple. I tell my hubby he should've seen me when I was 18...I was a sight to behold! (Of course, I keep him around because he says I still am). |

I love this, Kacy, esPECially the last line! Smiles. However, NOTHING you write or do or say will stop me from seeing you as being a free spirit ballet dancer in a flowing 3/4 length dress (white or sunflower-yellow with splotches of orange) with a flared skirt, dancing free form ballet, barefoot in fields of flowers! Once there was such a dancer who performed (dreadful word for what she was doing, because it was so beautiful and seemed so natural) in our church (barefoot and in a white dress), and it seemed to me that she was a South African version of you. Oh, and by the way, do you know how delicious fodder for a compost heap appears to a compost heap! Smiles. Owl |

You gave me a smile this morning as I watched a yoga show this morning wondering why I can't bend my body to my mind's wishes anymore M |

smiling... I wish I hadn't lost my way with the yoga thing...I was actually SERENE when I was into that. And like you, I find it hard to believe that the same person who could put her ankles behind her head (interesting times, those...*wink*) and *ahem* but just yesterday I pulled a muscle just from POINTING. Sheesh And no you're not a Goddess daughter. You are Gaia herself. |

Yo dear Kacy, This is a good poem about exercise. My dog Hilda manages my exercise routine. She walks me three times a day. Love Bobby |

Maureen, huess time is taking its but we must fight it! K, LOL, we should really sit and try that 'feet-behind-the-heads thing' some day! Bobby, dogs are great exercise companions! My Jack Russell Terrorist (in Alaska) "Skippydog" ran me daily, even in sub zero temps! |
