From my window I see a tree Already deep in winter Bereft of all her leaves But standing strong Her limbs are silent There is no movement today Just a stillness that makes You stop to see The enormous beauty She has become And on this day I am thankful Be kind at heart....for everyone you meet has their own battle to fight......... |

With the lawn needing mowing and the swamp cooler on it is so easy to forget that elsewhere it is winter...great poem btw. |
