I was lounging in the class keeping low and thinking vast when the teacher called me up to front the mob. Please do explain the theory the teacher asked me clearly with some surety that I could do the job. The subject did elude me but her confidence did soothe me so I gave my tongue full flight without a thought. The facts they did start flowing as my self esteem was growing with divergent fiction filling in the holes. On and on I did ramble with a well practiced amble that would easily stretch one minute into four. At the ending of my patter the teacher’s attitude was flatter but I knew her confidence in me was restored. So I walked towards my seating with all the classes’ greetings not to mention their cheering for my work. But as I sat and looked at the faces that now had unfriendly traces I realized that this is not my class room at all. [This message has been edited by Sonofgloin (06-27-2009 12:57 AM).] |
