Write me a poem Make it speak just for me Sprinkle hidden messages That only I can see Tell me the truth Of how you feel when I’m near Written whispered words of desire For only me to hear Send it quick now So that it reaches in time This one who needs those words Like oxygen from your mind Without a poem from you Life has no height nor breadth With no words from your thought, I die my thousandth death |

Happy 500th post!! *S* And hiya, handsome! *G* It's great to see the face behind the talent that gives us such wonderful poems. One of the great joys of reading poems is finding a line that fits the reader so perfectly it just HAS to be theirs... the joy is even greater when they know the writer and KNOW the gift was intentional. *S* Excellent write... as always! *S* |

Here you go handsome: You are a poetic nightdream, spilling sensual songs serendipitously, but I know they are just for me. ( ) When I search the starry skies for poetry's passionate eyes, who should I see frolicking 'neath dancing moonbeams, but thee! And then the sweet whispers begin to float on the wind, cloud pillow talk. SHHH! Just for you, PK. |
