The Disease As I sit here In this cold empty space A single tear Rolls down my face I sit across From this one I once knew But something came over And now she is new She sits there Looking back at me No memory Is what she will see She is so lost So lost and confused Scared and alone A mind so bruised I am now grieving For what I have known Although she is with me I feel so alone I've loved this woman Before all of this And I love her now Even though it is hard It is taking my soul It has broken my heart I hate this disease It has taken her from me I wish it would end And just set her free To: Grandma I walk in the clouds, I sing in the dust |

Yo dear 20toes, I'm sure you don't mean that. Bobby |

Although we haven't conquered all of the diseases that so beset us, we have the capacity to endure their assault upon mind, soul, and body. I recently passed by a bridge being built high over a deep canyon, and I marveled at the ingenuity of humans, and I said to myself, a hundred years from now someone will pass over this mighty bridge, and give no thought to the wonder I felt as it rose from the seemingly impossible foundation, upon those sheer, craggy, canyon walls . . . |

This is heartbreaking, but unfortunately a reality for so many. Huggs to you and your grandma. I wish you strengths and love to overcome. |
