The Challenge The grip of Winter, in its hold whispers of longing, to weather the cold. Glistening flakes kissing softly the cheek still warm the embrace, of words yet to speak. A new year, a new journey to once again raise new thoughts of what "ifs" to fill Winter days. Balancing all, the old with the new may not be enough for "the again" wish of you... Satin touches, held dear, remembering each thrill, "As Always" a promise, needing only the will. M |

Balancing all, the old with the new may not be enough for "the again" wish of you... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beautiful verse to go with the feelings you evoke. Your poetry is classic and stirs so many emotions. Happy New Year, Maur~ *hugs* |

Just got in from shoveling again...not so bad though this time didn't even need to use my new snowthrower! I hope you are doing well, Lor, I think of you (and your dughter)often. Hugs and hope you have a healthy and happy year ahead. Hi there, Linda. Thanks for the visit and congrats on your book. Wishing you also a healthy and happy New Year. I know, the "will" is always the problem. Thank you, Emily, for the read~~ M |

Wonderful...I don't break promises to others but have so often broken those to myself...this line from you fits so perfectly. "...."As Always" a promise, needing only the will." as always...enjoyed j. |
