I’ve searched up,
I’ve searched down,
I’ve searched everywhere within
Yet somehow I failed to look outwardly in.
Seen through the eyes of my mother and best friend,
I found myself no longer searching
Instead understanding ‘Me’
Simply and beautifully, as I already am.
