Tick tock Seems as if Time is a real witch Never waiting for me. Never caring if I understand a thing. Time always has its coat on. Always has the keys in hand Tapping its foot. Looking at its watch. I want to watch leaves fall, And babies smile. I want to know secrets, And maybe tell a few. I want to hold my father’s hand And feel the calluses he put there for me. I want to smoke big fat cigars, Stare into a pair of beautiful eyes. I want to sit lazily by the river And play my harmonica. I want to watch the sunset over the ocean Until I cry.
