Stay gone forever - Your words are beginning to hurt me Sometimes more than the pain felt when abandoned And you told me tonight that you weren't suprised Those things they did to me, I don't believe I deserved a single one Nor do you have the right to tell me differently But you insist That I'm still just a lost soul, groping through the darkness of this world And I admit No, I don't have it all figured out But I'm not afraid to confess that I probably never will Still, all I ever ask for, all I really need Is what seems to want to stay gone forever Emily Shives 12-15-09 |

This is beautiful and painful at the same time. I think I can safely sayt that no one has it all figured out. And if they act like they do - don't believe it. Aenea If I don't say it...who will? |

I am old enough to have 3 kids, 4 grandkids and two great grandkids and find that the farther I go the less I have figured out. And that's okay because it creates mystery. Oh, but for the mystery, we would dry up like old prunes. great poem! |
