Flight 263

Flight 263 had just left Heathrow Airport
And leveled out at its traveling pace,
When the captain came onto the intercom
And said ‘good morning,’ with a smile on his face.

It is a glorious day for our flight to Toronto
So sit back and relax and enjoy the flight,
Then as he started to say something further,
He made a loud exclamation iu fright.

Oh my God, came over the loud speaker
And then dead silence as the passengers froze,
What is going wrong, they all looked apprehensive
And on their faces their terror instantly shows.

Several minutes had elapsed before the Captain
Came back on the intercom telling of a mishap,
I’m sorry folks for that untimely distraction
But a flight attendant spilled hot coffee in my lap.

It was extremely hot, & burnt me, causing me pain,
In fact you should see the front of my pants,
Then came a voice from the rear of the plane,
Well you should to see the back of my pants.
