If knowing you is strange
Then we can talk about it
But by knowing me
We are left without it
Pulling us violently apart
Bit by bit

After all the games we play
We are left to linger and decay
Come what may

Funny how there’s nothing you can do
When you are missing me,
I am missing me
Inside of me too

There were nights I remember
When I was alone
Something missing within
Something unknown
Lost that part of myself
Forevermore alone

After all this delay
We are withered and astray
So we pray

Funny how no matter what we do
While you were missing me,
I was missing me
Inside of me too

It is not easy to be always well centered. There are times when we drift in longing to be found ...

Very beautifully written, dear J.!

You write bleakness better than anyone... I can hear the emptiness echo... Superb write!!
