Standing before it, as my eyes studies the place Where we once used to sit, now only an empty space This wooden bench, where we would talk of love and trust Now colorless and ugly, covered with so much dust The trees have grown old, the grass sick and long A place known to a love, where it once did belong It’s been darkened, the place emptied with time Fading beauty, of a love through its prime Seek the winds, find each breath our love took A love that grew as the sky, is all in one look Seek the memories that are yet floating in the air To find the love, we would once hold and share I walk away from the place, of a love once ours Knowing these will blossom forever, amongst flowers Standing before it, as my eyes studies the place Where we once used to sit, now only an empty space. |

Hope Again, rather a sad one but poignant and well written, enjoyed. Take care. Lindsay |
