Sometimes she wonders |

Brought up by loving parents, in a household safe and sound, she didn't have to think a lot, of what happened all around. Her youth passed by in loving care, they kept bad things away, until she spread her wings some more and flew from home one day. To be on her own was different, enjoyed the freedom she now had, but making decisions was difficult, most were good, but some were bad. Her life followed the 'normal' path, studied and married a nice guy, they travelled around and settled down, a life on which she could rely. They got kids and she stayed home, which was not bad for sure, because the sheltered youth she had, had made her insecure. As time went on, she learned to cope and improved her self esteem, which gave her courage to follow up on a long existing dream. At the age of fourty, she took a course in financial administration, she passed exams and found a job, a true and real sensation. They'd moved into a little farm, had cats and dogs and also sheep, she got busy as never before, which resulted often in lack of sleep. Their relation wasn't always happy, I'd say they've seen the back of sun, leaving, sometimes crossed her mind, but divorce was not her idea of fun. She took her vows quite seriously, 'For better and for worse', the 'better' is the easy part, the 'worse' they managed to reverse. Sometimes she wonders if she would be, a different person today, if she had made other choices in life, but that's impossible to say. And though some dreams from ancient youth, still linger in her mind, she accepts the choices she has made, search not always implies you find. |

I think we all wonder from time to time. There is very little I would change, though, because to change one thing may change much and I couldn't take that chance.. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |

We all must have wondered this at one time or another. It is not to say we have not enjoyed our life as it is, just pondering. Too bad we cannot try on ways of living as we can a new dress. Good writing and I enjoyed your thoughts. latearrival |
