We, the us that is
we sink within
each others skin.
Joking reality away,
taking from what is for the day.

Together we stumble.
No matter how it may crumble
for another solution.
Tomorrow or the next
fixated on the rest

of what is felt
between two beats
and 400 count sheets.
Then, more often than not, alone
and still feeling no reason to atone.


Following for once
what isn’t dissected by mind.
What shouldn’t be analyzed or defined
by circumstance or time.

This, my sublime.
