I see you looking at me I feel your eyes on my skin like shards of glass Cut me to the quick leave me bleeding like you are I feel your want your anger your need All mixed up inside hopeful and seething Every time you look at me Think of me I can feel it on my skin like thousands of tiny needles Eyes like fire and mortar Crawl all over Watching Waiting for me to fail to fall to come to you No more letters calls emails Just you and your eyes watching always Unaccepting of the truth of reality In love with a dream that I only slightly resemble Your schemes whisper along the edges of my mind Like a spider spinning his web Step into your parlor stay a while I see you looking Feel your longing and resentment Your eyes scrape across my skin Desperate and unwanted If I don't say it...who will? |
