Chimeric wisps of anger filter through the fog of being. Chance encounters, choreographed by Chaos, put spark to tinder-dry emotions shaped by paranoia's hopelessness. The sudden, explosive, culmination of a wasted life, irrevocably, irretrievably, changes the lives of Innocents. From the series, "Anger in the Street" "We are stardust: we are golden: and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden." --Joni Mitchell "Woodstock" |

There is a sense of helplessness in this write, crafted with excellence, dear Jim. I tend to believe that no life is wasted, because no one experiences exclusively the magnetism of negativity. But when children are the victims it is ever so hard to rebuild their trust in life. Love, Margherita |

Dear Margherita: I am always forced to wonder when we, as a society, became so insensitive to the needs of others. One remembers the phrase from "The Island of Dr. Moreau,": "Are we not men?" Society, it seems, has adopted the "corporate bottom line" syndrome as a leitmotif, and has abandoned the Golden Rule. Sad, indeed.
