Kanpai! Salud! Cheers! My old friend, you’ve changed colors today – no matter – Last night you were violet, now you are burgundy – no matter – I accept you regardless as a true friend should – no matter – what. Tomorrow’s many change you again and again, but I will stay loyal to what is inside I use you, I do, but what are friends for, if not to crutch one’s heavy world? Kanpai! Salud! Cheers! A nicely written celebratory song of praise to spirits, Joe. As an aside, I find it passingly sad that a culture that so celebrates liquor of all sorts is so condemnatory of those who would rather relax with cannabis. But then....I'm just an Ancient Hippie.
