Well it’s time
Those voices are becoming stronger
I am listening
To their encouragement
They have embraced me
Making me feel welcome
And you know,
I like it here
Love the pain
That hurt in my heart
That feeling of loneliness
Never to be missed…
But that’s COOL
I tried
Wanted to believe I could change
I could love somebody more
Than I love myself
But once a selfish soul
Always a heartless soul
My deepest thanks
To those who believed in me
But that wall was just so high
My body tires
My mind needs peace
My soul needs salvation
Life needs to close my book
But not before I bow
And tip my hat
To all who have made it
Found a way to survive
To love
To understand
I pray the Lord watches over them
Protects them
Guides them
Loves them
Unconditionally
As I sleep
One last smile upon my lips
Crying invisible tears
That dream me into nothingness……….

Marcel

Incredibly sad words that ring of less than hope...and I wonder at the reason one should think they have nothing to give.  The rays of the sun all give light, but they are very individual and they are not a source in themselves, but an extension.  Some hit cloud covers, and rain falls, but the potential for that ray to shine is still there.  I have tears reading this...

I thought I had a lot to say about this but the reality is just that I get it.
