Bones remembers every blow,
every insult to his body.

Every slap
is indelibly recorded
on his soul.

There is no relief,
and that’s
just the way it is.

Bones can never forgive,
he can only forget.

Bobby

forgiveness is hard, and sometimes impossible

but whiskey is good for forgetting

Bones has walked a long hard road - and he has shared his story in a manner that makes me listen.  I am glad that Bones did not forget - for I believe that he has taught others that hardships can be overcome and that faith sustains him.  Whiskey is only a bandaid - Bones shows true courage in remembering.

Love,
Alison

Unless someone has walked a mile in Bone's shoes, one cannot imagine the atrocities that he has witnessed and endured.

God bless him.

Love and healing hugs,
Linda

Thanks dear Alison,

I'm glad that you listen to Bones and his stories.  Bones and I really don't drink much whiskey.  Perhaps a little Chainti wine now and again.

Thanks dear Ida,

I'm happy that you agree with Alison.  Don't worry, Bones is not a heavy drinker, and I'm not either.

Hi Bobby Tell bones that the healing is in the forgiving. Hate tears the soul apart.

Bones' soul has long forgiven, it's Bones' personality, the ego, that has difficulty in doing so, which is comprehensible. You know what Jesus says with regard to forgiving ...

Matthew 18:22  Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven!"

Love and peace.

Thanks Bill,

Probably like you, Bones tries to forget, however, that's sometimes hard.
