Under the foreign sun Do you still remember when .. Said We’re Together from now and then Together in good times and bad It was the charm of a foreign land The charm of a foreign man Marching over burning sand Under igniting foreign sun Got your boots bright and shining gun You thought I’d run ..from you I’d hide You should have known that love was so blind You should have known I was so strong I set my standards of right and wrong So we took a road that seemed so long We grew a dream here and there Implanted hope everywhere Pictured freedom inside our cells We dared to shut the world outside We stopped the war for a while Made a peace ..we signed a truce Sealed a deal they all refused We taught them love worths fighting for Cause it’s a battle we’ll never lose But now you were gone Safe at home that must be fun Forgot about that foreign sand Those crazy days in my foreing land All the things we said and done so when you look into your cloudy sky hope you remember that foreign sun ! |
