Whats it like to grow up in the dark Have a flash to light up the night Hear a bang to silence the cries Rice and beans The feast of kings Happy just to eat something warm Whats it like to be so worn From the days passed Your kids out everyday Don't know what you've done wrong Knock on the door Pray its a cop Alternative You'll bury another Tell me what its like to cry You know its gonna happen again Every night since you was ten And you can't explain why God allows this terrible sin You pull through Now tell me what its like Whats it like to claim your happy At night you never sleep Never sleep, never sleep Whats it like to lie to your family Love a girl thats never there Hold your feelings Never to share Whats it like to observe at a distance Watch people suffer It effects you for a instance Whats it like to not really care The skin is different The accent is unfamiliar So you turn away Whats it like to be perfect? "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde |

Your pain is clearly seen as feelings bounce off the written page. Good work here. Thanks for the read. AL Inmon |
