They say they are there to help I'd like to agree But I can't they dont always help There are 13 of these rules Rules I'm to try and live my life by How am I supposed to be me These rules they criple what I want do I can't show you who I starting to be When I read these rules that were set by you I wonder how do I show you the diffrence in me I struggle day in and day out Wishing I could show just for a moment What I am turning into and becoming about I want you to see the joy in my life But your rules continue to hold me back Rules can be helpfull I will agree But if you want to truly see me Then lets toss out these rules If we do maybe you can start to see what you used to truly love about me |
