Forgive me, June, Did I hurt you? Did the leisure of past Forget that a romance Begins with a stare And continues with a kiss. Forgive me, June, Have the silent mornings given way to the drafts of wind until I step outside the door? Is a romance ours, is it lust, love between two 'souls' defying a mirage of heartbreak, or am I destined for a perilous white background With only a couch to sit on? Maybe we could go back to the first night we met Forget December and meet again, In June. |

Very nice work here, Tomer. I love the circular concept, where the first lines reconnect with the final lines to bring closure. Great read. Namaste Jim "We are stardust: we are golden: and we've got to get ourselves back to the garden." --Joni Mitchell "Woodstock" |
