Just Me & My Sweetheart

There's a marvelous
full moon tonight
with silky clouds
embracing the light.
My heart is craving
my sweetheart,
too many nights
we've been apart.
She's flying in
on Wednesday
from the cold
streets of Chicago
to the warmth
of Honolulu.
Soon we will see
each others smiles
and missing will
become hugging
and kissing,
no longer to
be denied,
thoughts and desires
will be satisfied
as love & closeness
saturate these two hearts,
within the fruits of blessings,
just me and my sweetheart.

I'm a tad bit envious. I'll be watching Biggest Loser on TV ~ alone! I think I'd prefer meeting my long-distant sweetheart in Honolulu beneath a full moon...Sounds divinely romantic...
