The good people of the world have all gone into hiding. Only the mean spirited people are making their presence known. It does not cost anything to be nice. The site (best-love-poems) has been over-run by a giant flock of mentors just waiting to swoop down on some poor unsuspecting novice. I am tired of seeing my best work get shot down in flames. I am tired of self proclaimed experts, telling other people what to do. Most of all I am tired of those stupid talking smileys. I am tired of having to turn the speakers on my computer all the way down. The voting and commenting features on that site should be removed. Competition is a western idea. It is flawed. It does not promote excellence. It only rewards popularity. Sorry for the rant but it needed to be said. Where is the love? Rick A.
