Fair to middlin' of nowhere

There is the yearning of my leather there
to feel your winds as mouths again
nursing my pores like finger ends
leaving the scars the dreamers find lovely

I am your highway
Calling you out tonight
I want to feel your
Thunder thrill me
As you burn me up
Any which way
You please
I'm calling you
Be free with me
Tonight

and now you whisper from your curves
that seduction that weeps my skin
temptation without reservations
the haunting sound of pleasures brim

I want to feel
The power of your steel
As it moves along my curves
Hugging my shoulders tight

old metal, hurry your agony forward
let us mate this siren's slickened sighs
as she sips our music with panting lips
and drags her railing across our spends

Race over my mounds
With your vibrations
Of delight
I want to feel you
On me
tonight

and shall we borrow that sunrise from time
finding no anchors to cling our unravel
will your shoulders remain insatiable then
whetting the fury of my spoking strum

I want your sunrise
Anticipating
My horizons
Endless
Constantly streaming

where highway and lonely are our open roads

(Dark Stranger clobber-rater)

A duet with our Dark Stranger? You must be a magician ... Though I am bursting with envy, I must admit that you have both performed a wonderful duet. The highway scenery has never been so hot!

Yep, the one and only DS! I can hardly believe it myself!  He is the magician -I'm just the lovely assistant. Thanks for the read and I'm glad you liked it.  If you don't mind, I'll indulge myself on this one and wear your envy like a little green feather in my cap~L

Wow! The two of you woke me up to visions of steaming on down the highway and being truly alive. Enjoyed this partnering.  Would like to see more of this creative combination.

Now I have to tell you that that poem makes me want to go out and buy myself at least a Harley headband.   Well done you two!  Well done.

This is good...very good.

Two voices whining among the pines and
eucalyptus along 101...

finding winding ways toward the ocean,
smelling the tang of airwaves....

good, very good.

Beautiful work, Lori. This is monumental.  What a great tribute to life, love, and the smells, and sensuality, of the open road.  Exciting stuff.
Go well
