 soot man played his old tinback strum rubbed his finger bones on the slick skins and nodded his beret to her bosom sway tapping holy shoes to sin wiggle urgency she spoke to him from the shimmery trees soft tongued woman sound with gravy needing to have the moan words kind that stirred the ears to be more hungry I was just a boy man leaning on my distance she pretened I was some piece of sky peeking through her bathing room window when she put her nothing gown on so slowly she made my tattoos into leatherly lather slow soap she said to shimmer her belly said she loved itching up against strangers like they were her willow tree kindred and my metal made her hurries go down easy __________________ daark (of cajun wood) |
