We were laughing small laughs
and enjoying a quiet lunch in the city
I don't like the city much, but I visit from time to time
people there they don't look you in the idea

I told her about a dog I know named Legend
and she asked what would happen,
since I loved him so,
if the earth chose to take him from me

I paused for a moment
and told her that I didn't know what it was like
but I imagine it'd be like waking up in the middle
of open heart surgery.

What a great line, Paul.  And it's like waking up to a hole in the sky.  That's what it was like for me anyway.  You are on a poetic roll just telling your stories in the wonderful way that you do.

Hello, Paul.  Another good one.  I especially like the keeper line "people there they don't look you in the idea"  Way cool, and pretty well says it all.  Thanks, and
