THE SOFTEST MILK Where light ends in a soft explosion Unseen, was the naked quiet Trailing over like winter whispers Birds swooping in gentle derangement A rainbow hiding from peering ears Lakeside by the tiny mountain Disrobing the herds of balding cattle The ancient man with puckered eyelids And other sorts too strange to utter ~~ |
